Практична граматика англійської мови

Анотація: ‘Practical Grammar’ Course is developed for ‘English and Ukrainian Languages’ major and is an integral part of the curriculum for linguistic specialties. Students cover various grammar topics and learn how to recognize, understand and use grammar patterns in oral and written speech. The course also helps to better understand grammar phenomena used in different professional spheres in a written and oral speech. As the result, at the end of the course students will know, understand and apply the main patterns, categories and phenomena of the English grammar.

Результати навчання:
ПРН-10: to know the rules of the English grammar and to know how to use them in oral and written speech.
ПРН-17: to collect, analyze, systematize the phenomena of the English language grammar and to use them in specific spheres of professional activities and/or studies.
ПРН-20: to have C1/Advanced level of English according to CERF.
ПРН-21: to translate and interpret from English into Ukrainian and vice versa.
ПРН-22: to be able to edit English articles.
ПРН -23: to follow academic ethics.

Зміст дисципліни: Modal verbs, their functions and similar expressions; Conditional sentences; Subjunctive Mood constructions; Gerund and Gerundial Constructions; Infinitive and Infinitive Constructions; Participle and Participial constructions; Relative clauses; Adverb clauses.

Форми та методи навчання: практичні заняття, самостійна робота

Методи й критерії оцінювання: рейтингове оцінювання за 100-бальною системою: поточний контроль - 70 балів (робота на практичних заняттях, поточні тести, фінальні тести); підсумковий контроль - 30 балів (залік); поточний контроль - 60 балів (робота на практичних заняттях, поточні тести, фінальні тести підсумковий контроль - 40 балів (екзамен).
