Медіація та фасилітований діалог в міжнародних відносинах

Анотація: The Mediation and Dialogue Facilitation Course is designed for students of international relations and focuses on peace mediation and dialogue at the high political level - as an approach to diplomacy (track I), as well as at the level of civil society and expert communities as a tool of peacebuilding (tracks 2 and 3). The course will offer an overview of institutional frameworks for both types of mediation and focus on the skills that are required for each type of the processes. Students will learn theoretical aspects of a mediation process and practice communication techniques needed for the different phases of a mediation process. The course will also offer insights into different ways how mediation and dialogues are used in Ukraine in the context of the current armed conflict. The course will be highly interactive and it will combine theory with exercises and personal reflection. The work will partly be done in small groups and through role-play exercises so that all participants find time to practice.
