Mr Mykola Kolotylo is a Senior Lecturer at the Kyiv-Myhola Academy. He teaches a course on the European Union Law and prepares his PhD thesis in the field of EU's external relations law. Mykola has been a visiting research fellow at the LUISS University (Rome, Italy) and Saarland University (Saarbrucken, Germany). Mykola holds an LLM degree in European legal studies from the College of Europe (Brugge, Belgium).

Mr. Kolotylo works as a case-processing lawyer at the European Court of Human Rights examining incoming applications. He drafts judgements, decisions, minutes, notes, and communication reports, prepares Chamber cases for examination by the Court, and assesses and summarises evidence in the Inter-State cases. Mr. Kolotylo focuses his research on such areas as Judicial remedies in the European Union, Fundamental rights protection, EU citizenship law and European Union external relations law.
