In her new article 'Second Bite at the Cherry' published in the prestigious Journal of International Criminal Justice, Dr Gaiane Nuridzhanian argues that the International Criminal Court should be granted powers to revise tainted acquittals resulting from interference with its administration of justice. This may discourage witness intimidation and other interferences with the ICC's proceedings and would allow the ICC to hold responsible those perpetrators who seek to obtain an acquittal by unlawful means.
