Norwegian-Ukrainian Cooperation in Higher Education

On September 23, NaUKMA hosted a meeting initiated by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Norway to Ukraine Jon Elvedal Fredriksen and supported by The Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU) within Norwegian-Ukrainian Cooperation in Higher Education.
At the meeting, representatives of Norwegian and Ukrainian universities (Norwegian university of Science and Technology, Telemark University, The Arctic University of Norway, University of Bergen, National university of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, National Technical University of Ukraine Kiev Polytechnic Institute, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, The Mykola Lysenko L'viv National Music Academy) reported on their current projects and discussed perspectives of further cooperation during roundtable and unofficial part of the event. NaUKMA Department of Finance in common with the Bergen University Center of System Modeling presented the project titled Learning economics with dynamic modelling, coordinated by Dr. Iryna Lukianenko, Professor, Head of NaUKMA Department of Finance, and Dr. David Vitt, Associate Professor of System Dynamics at the University of Bergen.
Among honorable guests of the event were: H.E. Jon Elvedal Fredriksen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Norway to Ukraine, Dr. Volodymyr Morenets, NaUKMA Acting President, Larysa Chovnyuk, Head of NaUKMA International Office, Olha Faryna, Chief Specialist of the Division for Basic and Applied research of the Department for Research and Licensing at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Bård Hekland, Head of the delegation of The Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU).
