Seven Members of Kyiv-Mohyla Community Joined Council for National Unity

President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, set up the Council for National Unity to facilitate the further consolidation of the Ukrainian society.
The Council was established to facilitate the further consolidation of the Ukrainian society on the basis of the national system of values, spiritual and cultural traditions, the development of the best measures aimed at strengthening the national unity and the development of the national consciousness, providing a system interaction of state authorities and civil society institutions.
Among the members of its board are seven Mohylyanka representatives:
Rostislav PAVLENKO, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy alumnus, Deputy Head of Presidential Administration of Ukraine, Secretary of the Board of the Council for National Unity;
Oleksiy HARAN, head of the School of Political Analysis, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, NaUKMA Professor;
Sergey KVIT, second President of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, current Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine;
Ihor KOHUT, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy alumnus, chairman of the think tank "Agency for Legislative Initiatives";
Olesya OSTROVSKA-LYUTA, Kyiv Mohyla Academy alumna, expert of “Pro.Mova” consulting company;
Volodymyr PANCHENKO, NaUKMA professor;
Valerii PEKAR, KMBS professor, co-founder of the “The New Country” civic platform.
