NaUKMA Finance Department Will Get a New Grant

NaUKMA Department of Finance won the project contest from Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU). The project is called «Extended Learning of Economics with Dynamic Modelling» and it will be carried out together with a long-time partner of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy - University of Bergen in Norway.

The goal of this project is to facilitate further development of successful international cooperation between Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and the University of Bergen in these four areas:

1) Creation of a Centre of excellence of the system dynamics, econometric modelling, financial and economic analytics at the NAUKMA Finance Department in cooperation with:

     - Department of mathematical economics and econometrics of the Lviv National Ivan Franko University;

     - Centre of system dynamics of the University of Bergen (Norway).

2) Conducting joint research together with the University of Bergen and Lviv University within the framework of reforming Ukrainian economy;

3) Development of the approaches on using system dynamics methods for teaching economics to the pupils in Ukrainian high schools;

4) Development of joint PhD and MA programs, as well as possibilities of academic mobility for BA students.
