Publishing house “Dukh i Litera” won five awards at Publishers’ Forum 2017

24th Publishers’ Forum was held at Lviv during 13-17 of September, 2017. It is one of the biggest and prestigious book events in Ukraine. During the Forum publishing house “Dukh i Litera” won:
- The Best Book award in the “Biography” nomination for “Lovytva nevlovnoho ptakha: zhyttia Hryhoriia Skovorody” (Hunting of elusive bird: life of Hryhorii Skovoroda) by Andriy Ushkalov.
- The Best Book award in the special nomination “City” for “Babyn Yar. Istoriia I pamiat” (Babyn Yar. History and memory) edited by Vladyslav Hrynevych and Paul Robert Magocsi.
Also “Dukh i Litera” was awarded with Diploma for significant contribution in publishing development and popularization of Ukrainian books. Iza Khruslinska, author of books-interviews with Oksana Zabuzhko and Yosyf Zisels, was awarded for personal contribution into the development of Ukrainian culture and mutual understanding between Ukraine and Poland. Maria Kiyanovska was rewarded by Oleksandra Koval, the President of Publishers’ Forum, for her book “Babyn Yar. Holosamy” (Babyn Yar. With the voices).
