Charity Foundation "Believe in Yourself" sabbatical scholarship winners

December 7, at the final meeting of the Contest Committee of the Research Scholarship Program for NaUKMA scientists from the Charity Foundation "Believe in Yourself" the names of its winners were announced.

Tetiana Stepurko (PhD, a graduate of NaUKMA, a teacher of the School of Public Health), Maxym Antoniuk (Ph.D., Department of Natural Sciences) and Ruslan Chornei (Ph.D., Department of Informatics) became the first winners the scholarship contest for 'sabatical' scholars from the Charity Foundation "Believe in Yourself", the strategic partner of Mohylianka.

This new practice for Ukraine is as follows: during a year a special research grant is paid for a scientist who deals with research in the global context and wins the competition. This grant allows him or her to focus entirely on scientific work and free time from lecturing (to make research and produce results in the form of publications or completion doctoral dissertation).

This first contest was presented by 24 researchers with their unique themes. The winners will start working on research since January, and the next competition for research scholarships in 2018-2019 academic year will be announced in January-February.

The Community of mohylians congratulates the winners and expresses sincere appreciation and respect to the Charity Foundation "Believe in Yourself" for supporting the development of science in Kyiv-Mohyla Acalemy.
