On December 12, a meeting with the priest of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, a chaplain of the 36th Special Brigade of the Marine Corps Andriy Zelinsky, was held in the framework of the "Mohyla Stories" cycle.
Andriy Zelinsky graduated from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in the field of Political Science, studied philosophy in the USA and theology in Italy. Last year, the military chaplain Andrii Zelinskyi has already performed in Mohylianka with a lecture on the cycle "Human Values", which traditionally begins the academic year at NaUKMA.
During the meeting, Andrii Zelinskyi spoke about his work as a priest and military captain, about his personal experience, but most of all about the Human and the Values.
The meeting was organized by the students of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Bohdan Paskar and Valeriia Nasedkina who attended one of Andrii Zelinskyi's lectures and, independently of each other, ignited the idea of organizing another meeting with the military chaplain in Mohylianka.
Today it’s so easy sometimes to forget a Human, his assignment and purpose because availability of too much information and living in rational times. Such valuable lectures as meeting with Andrii Zelinskyi remind us of really important things, inspire and give energy to work and to do good for the people around the country and the world.
