The students of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Department of Economics have participated in the international student competition organized by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). And their results were very high!
Students of both Bachelor and Master programs in Economics from multiple universities of Eastern and Central Europe competed there on November 21 and 25 2017. They had to pass a half-an-hour on-line test consisting of 30 professional questions in the sphere of management and financial accounting. The main aim of this Competition was to give the students an opportunity to try their own knowledge of finance. The representatives of Ukraine could also compare their level with that of their colleagues from 17 other European countries. Top three competitors received wonderful modern tablets as prizes.
Two Mohylianians were awarded by honorary mentions and special regards from the organizers: Natalia Shylo, 3th year student of the BA Program in Finance, Banking and Insurance, and Roman Soltysiak, 4 th year student of the BA Program in Economics. These two students proved to be the deserving representatives of our Academy. They showed that their Alma Mater has high quality standards and full ability to compete on the level with most of the universities in Eastern and Central Europe.
