NaUKMA received a one-year grant from the international non-governmental organization Finn Church Aid

 

In 2024–2025, NaUKMA Center for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support will cooperate with the Finn Church Aid (FCA) in Ukraine and will implement the research project “Integration of Psychosocial Support Methodology Components to the Educational Process” under the financial support of the Finn Church Aid.

 


The goal of the project is the methodological approbation and integration of psychosocial support methodology components to the educational process through the elaboration of methodological materials for the development of a new effective in-service training course for teachers, which will improve the level of application of psychosocial support methods by the latter. The project envisages conducting a complex cohort research study with its compulsory approval by the NaUKMA Institutional Review Board (IRB), methodological development and approbation of a new in-service teacher training course with the integration of the key components of the psychosocial support methodology into the subject curriculum in accordance with the existing educational standards, as well as further monitoring of the progress in the process of integration of the psychosocial support methodology components in the educational process.

 


In the framework of the project, the methodological materials developed will also be approved by the Institute of Education Content Modernization of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as the methodological materials with the key recommendations on the integration of the psychosocial support methodology components to the educational process will be disseminated among the in-service training institutes in Ukraine.
