March 17, 2015 in the Kyiv – Mohyla Academy (Skovorody Str. 2) will be round table discussion with participation of Latvian Researcher, Executive director of the Centre for East European Policy Studies Mr. Andis Kudors about „History as a weapon in Russian foreign policy".

Within program of the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the discussion with the participation of Latvian Researcher, Executive director of the Centre for East European Policy Studies Mr. Andis Kudors.

February 20-22 student team of the NaUKMA has won Runner-up position in the national finals of the Philip Jessup cup, and has obtained Best Memorial Award.

The Ministry of Education of Ukraine announced the priorities of the new leadership at a press conference on March 4.

A new publication at University World News by Serhiy Kvit, NaUKMA President and newly appointed Minister of Science and Education

On February 26, former President of Georgia Mykhail Saakashvili met NaUKMA community.

On February 20 members of the “December 1st” group discussed at NaUKMA the “Free Man Charter”, presented by the group on 1 December 2012.

On February 22, Dr. Clarence B. Jones, who assisted Dr. King in the drafting of his celebrated “I Have A Dream” speech, delivered a public lecture at NaUKMA.

The agreement was signed on February 20 within the project of the creation of a theological program.

The team comprised of the students of the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” Faculty of Law once again won at Ukraine’s national stage of prestigious Philip C. Jessup Competition.

Ann Elizabeth Applebaum, an American journalist and Pulitzer Prize-winning author, widely known for her works on civil society development in Eastern and Central Europe, an Editor at the Economist and a member of the Washington Post editorial board, on February 7 visited National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” and delivered a lecture “Actual believers: collaboration and opposition under the totalitarian regimes”.

Traditions of Jewish Studies at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy have roots in the 17th century. Jewish Studies became a comprehensive academic discipline only in the 19th century, in the earlier period they were represented mainly by Hebrew Studies, including studies in Hebrew language, history, and the Holy Writ.
